The location of the hotel is magnificent and absolutely perfect, facing courtyard. The property offers eggs and mushroom in the morning...

    The bathrooms are quite small.

The room was lovely with a comfy bed, and the location was great, right next to the bar/restaurant and the beautiful garden, plus Morton Castle was nearby.

This hotel is conveniently located near to many places of interest, making it a great base for exploring the area. The hotel's restaurant offers a wide selection of delicious food, including vegetarian options, which is a pleasant surprise. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with courteous and friendly staff providing excellent service. The beautiful grounds and the option for spa treatments add to the overall experience.

It would have been nice if bathrobes were provided in the rooms for added comfort.

This hotel was very welcoming and dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for me as I traveled with my furry friend. The tasteful decorations preserved the character of the hotel, although I noticed that it needed some maintenance in a few areas. The freshly prepared food was excellent, both for breakfast and dinner. I was particularly impressed with the extensive wine list, which included many unusual choices at reasonable prices. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and the hotel had a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

    Nothing.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel nestled in a beautiful garden setting. From the moment I arrived, the attentive and friendly staff made me feel welcome and ensured that all my needs were met. The service was top-notch, from the reception team to the talented chef who prepared delicious meals. The personal touch was evident throughout my stay, something that is becoming increasingly rare in today's hospitality industry.

This place is a basic yet charming country house hotel and spa. The comfortable rooms were clean and well-maintained, offering all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay.

What a cozy and welcoming atmosphere! The residential dog was the icing on the cake - so cute! They were so kind to allow us to bring our own pup which felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed the delicious food, and the staff was polite and always helpful, offering us a bowl of calming biscuits for our furry friend. The location was ideal for easy access to the great outdoors and stunning walks. We enjoyed the massage and complimentary breakfast too.

We had high hopes for the afternoon tea but the sponge was like sawdust - very disappointing. We were looking forward to a more traditional and exquisite experience, instead of the large, heavy sandwiches we received.
